How we work
The Studio
As a Member’s-Only environment, you can be assured that you will be surrounded by people who take their writing as seriously as you.
We aspire to be more than just a co-working space. Since launching in April 2023 we are building a community of creatives who value working on our craft – whatever that may be.
We hold fortnightly writers talks over lunchtimes. These are open to the public and all are welcome to drop in.

The Paperwork
To apply for membership, submit the application on our Join Us page.
Membership rates from 1 October 2023:
From as little as $25 per week for monthly memberships.
$150 per month by month rolling 24/7 access.
$25 per day drop in koha for casual members or visiting members of NZSA.
Private dedicated desk space is available for additional fees, either short or long term depending on availability.
The upper studio is open 24/7, so you can make the most of any snatched of time you have no matter how odd the hours.
The first floor studio is open from 9am Friday throughout the weekend, and every evening.
For people enrolled in an MFA programme or similar we offer a select number of discounted weekly rates.
Rates include WIFI, kitchenette facilities, tea and coffee.
